In Chains Motorcycles was originally set up by ex British Enduro rider Steve Colville in 1995.

In October 2000 Steve decided to move across from two wheels to four and sold the business to us, Nigel and Eileen Milward. Nigel had been working with Steve for three years before taking over when he was joined by his wife Eileen and son Ben.

The way we were now a little older

We have been very involved in the Motocross scene for many years and helped to run a local club. Ben, races at both modern and Evo meetings, teaches and also works in the shop. Our other team member, Darren, is the mechanic for his brother (Terry House) who races and between us we have extensive knowledge and experience in this area.

Although Motocross is predominantly our field, we also specialise in Trail, Trials and, Enduro. We are a TM and Beta main dealer, but can also get spares for other makes and models.

We have full workshop facilities and can do anything from full engine rebuilds to servicing, re build and re gas shocks and do fork seals and springs. We make cables and some hoses and straighten radiators. Welding, machining and fabrication also undertaken. If you have a problem give us a call we may be able to help.

Our aim is to be a complete supplier to the Off-Road and Motocross enthusiast and we try to run the business in an honest and friendly way.
